Here are all the different ways you can add content to OptiSigns and onto your screens:


Supported File and Media Formats

OptiSigns support a wide range of files for playback. Including:

  • All common image files: JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF.
  • Video: AVI and MP4.
  • Document: PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, all OpenOffice file types.

We also have several apps supporting Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and other web and online media streaming content.


Ready-to-Use Templates

We offer an expansive Template library, with over a thousand templates and more constantly being added weekly. These pre-built templates cater to a wide variety of businesses, use cases, events, and more! Not only are these templates eye-catching, vibrant, and captivating, but they are also customizable.

OptiSigns' Feeds: Curated Content for All Environments

OptiSigns Feeds is a collection of prebuilt, fresh, and engaging content designed to enhance your office, workplace, or business. These feeds cover a wide range of topics and formats, providing dynamic and updated content to keep your digital signage interesting and relevant.

Although Feeds are not customizable, we are constantly adding more content and updating Feeds to make sure your screens are up-to-date!

Popular Apps and Integrations

Canva

Canva is an easy-to-use online graphic design tool offering a vast library of templates perfect for digital signage, including presentations, posters, and videos. As one of the few digital signage providers listed in Canva, pushing content to your screens is easy with seamless integration.

You can both export and upload Canva images and videos or copy and paste the Live Embed link to OptiSigns.

Engage Kiosk Assets

You will need the Engage plan to access these interactive kiosk features.

Engage offers an interactive screen experience, enabling users to effortlessly create and manage Kiosk screens along with various Engage apps. This suite of applications is designed to turn screens into dynamic communication tools. With Engage, you can create engaging and interactive connections with your customers, enhancing their experience and fostering meaningful interactions.


Displaying Dashboards: Power BI, Reports, and More

Want to display Dashboards, Reports, KPIs, and more on your screens? Link your PowerBI or create a secured dashboard in our portal to keep your organization and employees up to date on the information that matters most!

OptiSigns offers maximum flexibility for sharing KPIs on your office digital signage. It is easy to share data either manually or automatically. You can create and upload your graphics, charts, images, or other files and set them to display on your selected signs.

Google Drive and OneDrive Synchronization

With OptiSigns, you can quickly put images and videos from your Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive on your screens using our integrated apps. These apps will create a playlist for files in your dedicated drives, and any changes or updates will automatically be synced. This allows you to quickly update and share content within your team without needing to log in to OptiSigns portal.

API Integration

At OptiSigns, we are striving to build an easy-to-use platform and continuously exploring ways to help make complex use cases more user-friendly. With the API gateway and API-to-Screen feature, users can easily integrate their API from other systems, get it mapped using the designer app, and then publish it to the screen. This is a no-code/low-code solution, it can be set up by users without a software engineering background. It can be applied to many common use cases:

  • Digital menu board: Integrate with your POS systems and get the DMB updated automatically, as well as edit the format of your DMB using the designer app whenever needed.
  • Automated HR update: Use the API from your HR systems to display birthdays or work anniversaries on the screens automatically.
  • Any other information display use cases that you will need to consume API data and display the data on the screens.

This feature mainly consists of two parts:

API Gateway API-to-Screen Data Mapping with OptiSync
This is a console to allows users to centrally manage the APIs, as well as configure and test the APIs. Use OptiSync's DataSources and Repeaters in the Designer app to get an element on Designer mapped to the API data. The screens will call the API and use the API data on the element when there is a change.
